Anxiety, Overthinking, and Overwhelm Don’t Have to Be Your Normal

It Doesn’t Have to Feel This Heavy All the Time

You might look like you have it all together—but inside, you’re anxious, overstimulated, or just plain tired of holding it all in. You’re not broken. You’re just carrying too much on your own.

I help people untangle what’s going on beneath the surface so they can feel more at ease, more like themselves again.
Using therapy that blends Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic work, and mindfulness, we’ll explore what your symptoms are trying to protect—and how to meet those parts of you with curiosity and compassion.

Individual Therapy for Anxiety, Overthinking, and Emotional Overload

Together, we’ll begin to unhook from the patterns that no longer serve you—and gently build a steadier, more self-compassionate inner world.

Therapy isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about remembering who you were before the world told you who to be.

Therapy Approach

🌿 Internal Family Systems (IFS)
A compassionate, evidence-based approach that helps you understand and heal the different “parts” of yourself—like the inner critic, the overachiever, the anxious planner, or the part that shuts down when things get too hard.

IFS recognizes that we’re all made up of many parts, each with its own perspective, emotion, and history. Often, these parts are trying to help us—even if their strategies feel exhausting or confusing.

Together, we’ll get curious about what’s happening beneath the surface. As you build a relationship with your inner world, you’ll begin to lead from your Self—the calm, confident, compassionate core that’s undamaged, unburdened, just buried.

This work goes beyond coping skills. It helps you shift long-standing patterns at the root, so you can finally feel more calm, more assured, and connected in your daily life.

🌿 Somatic (Body Based)
We gently reconnect with the body to help release stress, restore regulation, and shift patterns held in your nervous system—not just your mind.
If you’ve ever felt like you understand your struggles but still feel stuck, you’re not alone. That’s because insight alone isn’t always enough.
Somatic work offers another pathway—one that helps you feel safer, calmer, and more at home in yourself.

🌿 Mindfulness & Self-Compassion
You’ll learn to notice thoughts, emotions, and body cues without immediately trying to fix, control, or push them away. Instead of getting stuck in loops of overthinking or self-criticism, mindfulness invites a gentler, more spacious way of relating to your experience.

Self-compassion helps shift your inner dialogue—from “What’s wrong with me?” to “Of course I feel this way.”

This work teaches you how to slow down, listen inwardly, and respond with care—even in moments of stress or uncertainty. Over time, you’ll spend less energy managing everything in your head and more time inhabiting your life—with clarity, presence, and a deeper sense of self-trust.

The Details

What can you expect from therapy with me?

Sessions are virtual and tailored to your pace. Some weeks, we may talk through a current stressor. Other times, we might pause and explore what’s happening inside—whether it’s a part of you that feels stuck or a pattern your body is holding.

My role is to offer a calm, steady presence as your healing process unfolds. You’re always in control of what we focus on and how we approach it. I also value open communication—if something doesn’t feel quite right, we can talk about it and adjust. You deserve care that truly fits you.

How much do sessions cost?

Sessions are $135. While I don’t accept insurance, therapy is often eligible for reimbursement through HSA or FSA accounts. I can provide a detailed receipt (superbill) if needed.

Is virtual therapy effective—and how does it work?

Yes—virtual therapy is just as effective as in-person for many people. It allows you to show up from the comfort of your home, your car during a break, or anywhere you feel safe and private.

I use SimplePractice, a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. After you schedule, you'll receive a personalized link—no apps or downloads required. Just click the link at our scheduled time and we’ll connect by video. You can even access it from your phone.

Most of my clients appreciate the flexibility and ease of telehealth, especially when life is busy or you’re craving support without the extra logistics.
