Calm and Grounded Therapy for Anxious Overthinkers.

Virtual therapy across Kentucky. Show up as you are. We’ll work through this together.

Welcome :)

I’m Angie (she/her), a virtual therapist in Kentucky who loves cozy fiction and romantacy, hammocks under shady trees, and planning my next trip.

I specialize in helping anxious, deep-thinking folks who ruminate and spiral about worst-case scenarios, hold stress in their bodies, and may be navigating chronic illness (like hEDS/EDS/MCAS), complicated family dynamics, or fears of flying and doctors’ appointments.

As someone who can relate to much of this, I get how heavy and exhausting it can feel. But you’re not in this alone. I’ll be there honoring what’s important to you, going at a pace that feels steady and hopeful.

My Approach: Go Deeper Than Just Coping

You may have been thinking your way through life for a long time. You are smart and insightful. You see your patterns, but your thoughts don’t always slow down, or you get stuck ruminating on something without much control over stopping it.

In our work, we go deeper than coping.

We gently explore what is underneath the anxiety and overthinking so you are not just managing symptoms, but shifting the patterns that keep showing up.

You can learn to feel your emotions without shutting them down or becoming overwhelmed. You can loosen the grip of worst-case scenario thinking and constant self-doubt. You can reconnect with the steadier part of you beneath the worry or self-criticism.

Therapy should feel like an exhale. Like returning to yourself after years of holding everything together, with more steadiness in how you relate to your thoughts and emotions.

What Our Work Might Look Like

Therapy with me is collaborative and grounded in respect. You’re always in charge of the pace. I’ll meet you with warmth, curiosity, and a deep belief in your capacity to heal - plus just enough humor to remind you that healing doesn’t have to feel like hard work all the time.

We can acknowledge the state of the world.
Talk about something that brought you a little joy this week.
Or name the grief of living in a body or mind that doesn’t always do what you wish it would.

I tend to work well with people who:

  • find their mind getting stuck in worst-case scenarios, and have a hard time letting things go once they start

  • replay conversations and wonder if they handled something the “right way”

  • live with anxiety alongside health concerns, where their body can feel like something they have to constantly manage

  • avoid things like flying or doctor’s appointments, or push through them while feeling really on edge

  • grew up in environments that felt confusing, unpredictable, or like they had to be a certain way to be okay

  • are trying to set boundaries, especially with a parent, and notice a mix of guilt, doubt, and relief

  • understand their patterns, but don’t feel like that awareness has actually made things easier

This work goes deeper than just coping, so it may not feel like the right fit if you’re mainly looking for just quick tools or strategies.

Healing begins the moment you stop managing and start listening—to your body, to your emotions, to the parts of you that have been quietly asking for care.

You’ve already taken a brave first step just by being here.
If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or quietly disconnected from yourself, I want you to know: it doesn’t have to stay this way.
