Therapy for When Your Mind Won’t Slow Down.
Virtual anxiety therapy in Kentucky for people who feel stuck in their head and carry that stress in their body.
Hi, I’m Angie (she/her)
I’m a virtual therapist in Kentucky who loves cozy fiction and badass female-led fantasy, hiking and hammocks under shady trees, quiet time at home and planning my next trip.
I’m drawn to things that feel a little deeper, more intuitive, and grounded in trusting yourself, even when that means questioning what you’ve been taught to believe.
I work with anxious people who tend to overthink, spiral, and get stuck in worst-case scenarios — often feeling that stress in their body.
Some of the people I work with are also navigating chronic illness (like hEDS, digestive issues, endo, or painful bodies), complicated family relationships, or early experiences that still seem to shape how you think, feel, or respond now.
I relate to a lot of this myself, so I know how heavy and exhausting it can feel.
You’re not in this alone. I’ll be there with you - exploring what matters to you and going at a pace that feels steady and manageable.
🌿 My Approach: This Goes Deeper Than Coping
You don’t need more tips.
You need a different relationship with your inner world.
In our work, we’re not just managing anxiety —
we’re gently untangling what’s underneath it.
That might look like:
learning how to feel emotions without shutting down or spiraling
loosening the grip of worst-case thinking
understanding the deeper patterns driving your reactions
reconnecting with the steadier, more grounded core self within
This isn’t about forcing change.
It’s about creating enough safety internally that change happens naturally.
What Our Work Might Look Like
🤍 What It Feels Like To Work Together
Therapy with me is collaborative, grounded, and very human.
You set the pace and decide what we talk about. Always.
You’ll have a true partner in this - I’ll ask questions, reflect things back, and sometimes point out patterns you might not see yet - always in a way that feels supportive, not overwhelming.
I’ll meet you with:
warmth
curiosity
honesty
and just enough humor to keep things feeling real
Some sessions might feel like:
→ finally saying something out loud you’ve been holding in
→ connecting dots you’ve never been able to fully see before
→ or simply exhaling in a way you haven’t in a long time
There’s room here for depth…
and also moments that feel surprisingly light.
Therapy with me is collaborative and grounded in respect. You’re always in charge of the pace. I’ll meet you with warmth, curiosity, and a deep belief in your capacity to heal - plus just enough humor to remind you that healing doesn’t have to feel like hard work all the time.
We can acknowledge the state of the world.
Talk about something that brought you a little joy this week.
Or name the grief of living in a body or mind that doesn’t always do what you wish it would.
✨ Who I Work Best With
This work tends to click if you:
get stuck in worst-case scenarios and can’t easily “let things go”
replay conversations and question if you did something wrong
feel anxiety deeply in your body, especially alongside health concerns
avoid or push through things like travel or medical appointments while feeling on edge
grew up in environments that felt confusing, unpredictable, or emotionally complex
are trying to set boundaries and feel guilt, doubt, or second-guessing afterward
understand your patterns… but still feel stuck in them
This Might Not Be The Right Fit If…
You’re mainly looking for quick tools or surface-level strategies.
This work is slower, deeper, and more sustainable than that.
Healing begins the moment you stop managing and start listening—to your body, to your emotions, to the parts of you that have been quietly asking for care.
You’ve already taken a brave first step just by being here.
If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or quietly disconnected from yourself, I want you to know: it doesn’t have to stay this way.
